What should a dental clinic in Dubai publish so AI assistants recommend it?

Sufia AramBy Sufia Aram, Managing PartnerPublished 26 October 20264 min read
The short answerA dental clinic in Dubai needs eight things on its website for AI assistants to recommend it: a page for each treatment with a price range, a profile for each dentist with qualifications and languages, a list of insurance companies accepted, the area and nearest landmark on every page, emergency and same-day hours, payment and instalment options, a Google profile with reviews that mention treatments, and a FAQ on each treatment page. Most Dubai dental sites have two or three of these.

Why dental is different

Dental questions are specific, price-sensitive and often urgent. "How much are veneers in Dubai?" "Emergency dentist open now in Al Barsha." "Invisalign provider in Dubai Hills that does instalments." Each question has an answer a clinic could publish, and the engine will quote whichever clinic did.

The eight things to publish

1. One page per treatment. Cleaning, fillings, root canal, crowns, implants, veneers, aligners, whitening, paediatric dentistry. Title each one as the patient's question: "How much does a dental implant cost in Dubai?" Answer it in the first paragraph with a range and what moves it.

2. Price ranges. The single biggest difference between clinics that get named for cost questions and those that do not. A range is enough: "Teeth whitening at our clinic costs AED 1,200 to AED 2,000 depending on the system used." Without a number, the engine has nothing to quote and moves on.

3. A profile for every dentist. Name, specialty, where they qualified, years in practice, languages spoken, licence authority, and the treatments they do most. Patients ask for "a female orthodontist" or "a dentist who speaks Russian", and the engine needs a page that says so.

4. Insurers accepted. A plain, current list on its own page, plus a line on each treatment page saying whether it is usually covered. Update it when contracts change.

5. Location, said every time. The area name, the building, and the nearest landmark or metro station, on every page. "Dental clinic in Dubai Hills Business Park, five minutes from Dubai Hills Mall." Engines match on area names.

6. Emergency and same-day policy. Opening hours, whether walk-ins are seen, what counts as an emergency, and a phone or WhatsApp number. "Emergency dentist open now" is one of the most common urgent questions.

7. Payment options. Instalment plans, card payments, insurance direct billing. Aligners and implants are often chosen on payment terms.

8. FAQ on every treatment page. Four to six questions patients actually ask: does it hurt, how long does it take, how many visits, is it covered, what is the aftercare. Marked up with FAQ schema.

Off the website

A verified Google Business Profile with the primary category set to dentist or dental clinic, services listed with prices, and reviews. When asking patients for a review, it helps to ask them to mention the treatment and the area if they are comfortable doing so; never write reviews for them. Listings on dental and medical directories with the same name, address and phone as the website.

What not to do

Do not publish before-and-after photos or outcome claims without checking your regulator's advertising rules. Do not claim "best dentist in Dubai" on your own site; the engines discount it and regulators may object. Factual, specific, current information outperforms superlatives on every count.

Where to start

Pick your three highest-value treatments, usually implants, aligners and veneers. Build those three pages properly this month, with prices, dentists and FAQs. Then run "how much is [treatment] in [your area]" in ChatGPT and Perplexity every week and watch for your name.

Frequently asked

What is the most important page for a Dubai dental clinic in AI search?

A page per treatment with a price range in the first paragraph. Cost questions are among the most common dental questions, and engines quote clinics that state a number.

Should a dental clinic publish prices?

Ranges are enough, with a line on what moves the price. Clinics without any figure are rarely named for cost questions.

Do dentist profile pages help with AI recommendations?

Yes. Patients ask for dentists by gender, language and specialty, and engines need a page that states those details for each practitioner.

Can a dental clinic call itself the best in Dubai?

It is not recommended. Engines discount self-praise and UAE health regulators have advertising rules. Specific facts about treatments, prices and dentists perform better.
