The client

Konception Designs is an apparel sourcing and product development company with three factories, 980 machines and offices in Gurugram, Mumbai, Dubai, London and Los Angeles. It supplies finished garments and home goods to global retailers and high-end designers.

The problem

Buyers at international brands search for manufacturing partners by capability and country. Konception was invisible for those searches outside India, so sourcing enquiries came almost entirely through trade shows and personal networks.

What we did

  • Rebuilt the site structure around capabilities: product development, vendor selection, quality assurance, shipping
  • Country-specific landing pages for the UAE, UK and US markets with local contact details and schema
  • Content answering the questions sourcing managers actually ask: minimums, lead times, compliance, categories
  • Listings on international sourcing directories and trade platforms, with a consistent entity description
  • Tracking of enquiry source so the client could see which market each lead came from

Outcome

Inbound sourcing enquiries rose 120% and the site now ranks for manufacturing-partner searches in three countries, giving the sales team a pipeline that no longer depends on the trade-show calendar.

What it means for AI search

Sourcing managers now ask ChatGPT and Perplexity for manufacturers by country and capability. The capability pages, the plain answers on minimums and lead times, and the directory listings built for this program are exactly what those engines quote. A B2B exporter in the UAE that wants to be named in AI answers starts from the same list.
