The Challenge
What the client needed to solve.
A Dubai-based founder had built an early version of a B2B workflow automation product with 3 paying pilot clients. He had a strong product instinct but no structured investor narrative, no financial model built to investor standards, and limited experience navigating the UAE family office funding landscape.
Our Approach
How Samura and Altix Codeit engaged.
Samura led a 4-week market entry and fundraising strategy engagement. We developed the UAE market sizing using bottom-up analysis, defined the ICP and GTM sequencing for the GCC market, and built the full investor narrative from scratch. Altix Codeit provided a technical architecture review that strengthened the product story. The pitch deck, financial model, and data room were all produced within the 11-week engagement.
The Outcome
What was achieved.
The founder entered the fundraising process with 14 investor meetings secured through Samura's regional network introductions and his own outreach. Two term sheets were received. A AED 5.2M seed round was closed with a Dubai family office as lead investor.
I had been trying to put the fundraising materials together for four months before engaging Samura. Eleven weeks later we had closed the round.
